I had been playing backgammon since I was a kid and never new people played money backgammon until I was flipping through the television channels and saw a pro tournament where they were playing for big cash.  In fact, that was the first time I’d heard of a doubling cube as well.  But was I excited to find out I could take my year of development playing friends and family and put it all towards money backgammon.

I saw an ad for internet backgammon on the tournament I was watching so I got online to see what it was all about.  First of all, internet backgammon is a great experience.  I had known it existed but I thought it was like those generic online games that come installed on your computer, like solitaire.  I didn’t realize you could play for money, how life like the graphics are, or how many other players are online.  If I would have known I could find thousands of other backgammon players online I would have gotten started a long time ago.

Playing real money backgammon online is a thrill.  Playing for real money really adds to the excitement of the game and when I win it blows the house off the roof.  It’s really what I needed after years of backgammon play; I needed something to spice up the experience and I needed to stop playing just my family and friends.  I’m really happy to find out about money backgammon online and if you’ve been looking to bring more excitement to your game you should check it out too.
